We all have bad days..

We all have bad days..

But don’t just give up on things..

Everything just starts to feel perfect in life, until the day comes punching your teeth out. It begins slowly, then cuts deeply when you can’t meet your promises.

But then, don’t give up, NEVER give up on your dreams. Hope is all you could wish for, or more likely live for.

This very night was the deadline for my Google Summer of Code first milestone. And I couldn’t meet it despite every efforts made. I wish it went as planned. But never do things go as planned.

Hermonie (my laptop) took too much this time, 😟 breaking up her very neck (hinge) 🤕 and frying up her very nerves (LCD cable) all the way down. You talk of bad things, I’ll tell you about something worse.

Since, my machine broke down. I thought I could make use of my roommate’s. His laptop was perfectly fine, till the day, it lost its Wireless connectivity, down to hardware. 😐 Even worse, my mobile had a network connection too weak to clone repositories for me. I managed to get it working somehow, but it isn’t over yet. I got myself a working machine at office. However, it was under a firewall with all its ports blocked, can’t even clone a repo. Speak of the devil, then I found this magical text editor cum environment tool at https://codeanywhere.com, which kinda’ saved my a**. 😭 Now tell me, how worse could things otherwise be.

You may not always have a comfortable life and you will not always be able to solve all of the world’s problems at once but don’t ever underestimate the importance you can have because history has shown us that courage can be contagious and hope can take on a life of its own. — Michelle Obama

I never knew how good people can be. I never met any such person in reality. I was literally in tears 😢 when my mentors offered to provide any and all forms of support, even were ready to purchase hardware and offer network connectivity, in case I required financial support. I mean, I barely knew them, never even met them in person before. That was really something. It means a lot to me, I don’t know what I did to deserve such good people in my life. I mean how tough can life be, when you’ve such moral support. 😍

Since this event, I believe that this world is nothing we think it is. Everyday is a surprise of it’s own kind.

Don’t find excuses, there’s always a silver lining!

There’s a lot to being in a community than just working together. The best decision I’ve ever made was participating in Summer of Code. Thanks for being with me, guys.
